The LL.M. and S.J.D. applications expose students to American modes of legal schooling (which emphasize important pondering and self-inquiry) in addition to to substantive law, and improve our students’ means to do advanced scholarly work.

Over the course of her career, as Bonnie Docherty ’01 has emerged as a world knowledgeable on civilian safety in armed battle, she has also mentored scores of clinical college students, from area researchers in conflict zones to advocates inside the halls of the U.N. in Geneva.
